This log home is a very special and well thought out, with 2 bedrooms, master with a king bed and guest room with 2 full beds plus and 2 full bathrooms. With an additional queen sleeper sofa you can sleep up to 6 guests.  Outside, unwind in the hot tub, gather around the custom fire pit, or take in creekside views from the deck while others play cornhole or explore the creek.

This is a mountain cabin rental that takes mountaintop luxury to a new summit! This log home is well suited for families who prefer a private experience where they can enjoy their own space and well-suited for families or a romantic getaway for two couples.

The master bath indulges with a jetted garden tub, full-size shower and a double vanity. The second bath features a shower and single vanity.

If you’re bringing the kids (or extra guests), a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area sleeps two more.

Make sure to come together in the evening for a creekside bonfire under the stars—nothing beats the soundtrack of burbling water, a crackling fire, and the laughter of your favorite people. We provide the firewood!

The fully equipped kitchen is equipped to handle even the most elaborate flapjack feasts, and the island bar offers seating for two to help prep breakfast or just keep the chef company. Gather around the dining table to chow down and plan the day. Tall windows and a wood-burning stove make this an especially dreamy spot to dine during winter snow.

An extra-cozy living area offers wooded views and plush sofa and recliner seating. Grab something from the video library and enjoy a movie night in on the flat-screen satellite TV.

You have plenty of options for dinner: Prep a favorite meal in the elegant, fully equipped & stocked kitchen, grill some burgers and dig in at the picnic table beside the creek, or drive into Black Mountain or Asheville to sample its many delicious restaurants.

As beautiful as this home is, it's just a prelude to the many gifts outside your door. Hiking trails, cascading creek and pond are just right outside your front door! Enjoy making smores at the outside bonfire pit ( free firewood is provided ) or catching tadpoles and salamanders in the creek, a short walk or drive from the home. Or simply sit back and watch the hummingbirds, woodpeckers, squirrel, rabbit, and deer - just some of the neighbors that may visit. In each and every season, Western North Carolina offers some of the best vacation possibilities. Spring hiking, summer trout fishing, fall foliage or winter skiing. Highrock Haven is centrally located so that you may enjoy local attractions like the popular Biltmore House - each of these with just a short drive.

Other things to note

Pet policy - Dogs welcome, $50 pet fee per dog over 15 lbs, 3 dog limit. 

For your convenience we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay.

Due to the rural location of this property, cell phone reception may occasionally be spotty, Verizon is the best for connectivity. A landline is provided in the cabin.

4WD will be necessary in snowy/icy conditions.
