The log home is a very special and well thought out, with 2 master bedrooms with king beds and 2 full bathrooms. This log home is well suited for families who prefer a private experience where they can enjoy their own space and well-suited to a romantic getaway for two couples, Hideaway at High Rock features two master suites, both with a king-size bed and a private, attached bathroom.

The first en-suite indulges with a jetted garden tub, full-size shower and a double vanity. The second bath features a roomy shower and another double vanity.

If you’re bringing the kids (or extra guests), a queen-size sleeper sofa in the living area sleeps two more. They can conveniently access the second bath from the hallway.

IDEAL FOR GATHERING

Make sure to come together in the evening for a creekside bonfire under the stars—nothing beats the soundtrack of burbling water, a crackling fire, and the laughter of your favorite people. We provide the firewood!

If the weather doesn’t cooperate, have a movie night in the great room with HDTV and Blu-Ray player, plus a wood-burning fireplace (so you don’t have to skip the s’mores).

Or get competitive in the game room, featuring another HDTV, foosball, and an 8’ regulation pool table with Ping Pong conversion top.

You have plenty of options for dinner: Prep a favorite meal in the elegant, fully equipped & stocked kitchen, grill some burgers and dig in at the picnic table beside the creek, or drive into Asheville to sample its many delicious restaurants.

As beautiful as this home is, it's just a prelude to the many gifts outside your door. Hiking trails, cascading creek and pond are just right outside your front door! Enjoy making smores at the outside bonfire pit ( free firewood is provided ) or catching tadpoles and salamanders in the creek, a short walk or drive from the home. Or simply sit back and watch the hummingbirds, woodpeckers, squirrel, rabbit, and deer - just some of the neighbors that may visit. In each and every season, Western North Carolina offers some of the best vacation possibilities. Spring hiking, summer trout fishing, fall foliage or winter skiing. Highrock Haven is centrally located so that you may enjoy local attractions like the popular Biltmore House - each of these with just a short drive.

For your convenience we supply you with a limited starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels, trash bags, and dishwasher detergent. There are several shops you can visit nearby to purchase supplies for the duration of your stay.

Due to the rural location of this property, cell phone reception may occasionally be spotty, Verizon is the best for connectivity. A landline is provided in the cabin.

4WD will be necessary in snowy/icy conditions.
